About the Event

Demo Day is a competitive, live pitch competition for entrepreneur's in the tech and AI industry. Apply here for a chance to pitch & win cash for your startup!

4 finalists will pitch live on November 12th, 2024 from 5-7pm in a “Shark Tank Style” format to judges and a live audience. Applicants are limited to tech products or services. The business must be early stage with a clearly defined path to revenue, researched target market and scalability.

Application must be submitted by October 22nd, 2024. . The top 4 selected applicants will be notified by November 1st, 2024 to compete at the live Demo Day event on Tuesday, November 12th from 5-7pm. Each finalist will be given 10 minutes to pitch their startup to the audience and answer the judge’s questions. All presenters will walk away with a little cash from the judges, but 1st and 2nd place will win a larger cash prize!

Eligible Applicants

• Must be a legal U.S. resident, age 18 and older

• Must use prize money for outlined business development purposes only

• Must be available to present at OPO Demo Day on November 12th, 2024 from 5-7pm

• Must submit the application by October 22nd, 2024

• Will be included in press releases and social media

• Be an active business under $250,000 in revenue

Submission Details

• Submit a PDF explaining your business concept (10 pages or less)

• Submit a 1 page business canvas

• Submit a short response (limited to 500 words) answering each of the following questions:

  • Why should we select you?

  • What will you do with the money?

  • Where do you see your business in 2 years?

  • How will you impact on the local economy?
